2023 Edition: Who is Saint Joseph for me?
FAFCE invites artists to think and create together on the figure of Saint Joseph! How do we see in 2023 this Patron saint of the Catholic Church, Patron of fathers, and Patron of workers? This call for art works embodies two of the directions set by Pope Francis: the Year of Saint Joseph, and the Role of the Father in our today society.
The digital reproductions, send by the 30th of April, 2023, will be evaluated by a jury of experts, who will inform the authors of the results in May, 2023.
An electronic catalogue of selected works will be published on the Website of the contest. Winner will see their work awarded and presented during an exhibition at the European Parliament in June-September 2023. Exhibitions throughout Europe following the event are still under discussion.
We invite any artist interested, independent of his/her religion, to participate, with a special encouragement for young artists.
